Episode 71: Best of 2016

Hey guys!

This week, we talked about all of our must-sees and must-not-sees of 2016, talked some movie and trailer news, and remembered the late and great Carrie Fisher. We also started our new TV watchthrough, Atlanta! You can watch the first episode for free on YouTube. Next week, we’re talking Green Room, starring Anton Yelchin.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 70: Whiplash, La La Land

Hey all,

This week we watched two movies from , Whiplash  and La La Land. The latter is in theaters now and if you’re into love stories and musicals we definitely recommend it. It looks great on the big screen. If you haven’t seen Whiplash yet and are concerned about spoilers but still want to know what we thought of La La Land, skip to the 50 minute mark once we start talking about it. Next week we’re talking about our favorite movies of 2016! Tell us yours on our Facebook page!

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 69: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Hey Rebels,

This week we watched and discussed Rogue One. We both liked it and think you should see it, but if you don’t there’s a nice long start without spoilers so you can decide if it’s right for you. Next week we’re seeing La La Land, which is getting really good buzz. We’ll also be discussing Whiplash (which is from the same director).

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 67: Moana, Allied, Crimson Peak

Hey all,

Lots to talk about this week. We saw Moana, which we loved (no spoilers in that review). We saw Allied, which we didn’t love. We saw Crimson Peak, which we wanted to love but just couldn’t. Caitlin also gives her spoiler free review of Fantastic Beasts and Where Did They All Go? Are They Over There? And at the very end of the episode we talk spoilers on that and where they say the series will be going.

Next week we’re watching Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. So that should be fun.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 66: The Fifth Element, Pan’s Labyrinth, No More Bates Motel

Hey everybody,

This week we featured an old friend, Kaitlin (with a K), for our discussion of The Fifth Element. It was a grand ol’ time. We then transitioned into a Kaitlin-less discussion of Pan’s Labyrinth. We recommend both movies. We’re also giving up on Bates Motel. Give us ideas for what show to watch next on our Facebook page!

Next week we’ll be watching Allied (in theaters now) and hopefully also Crimson Peak.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 65: Pacific Rim, Bates Motel S1e5

Howdy everyone,

This week instead of every Hannibal movie we watched and talked about Pacific Rim. We really liked it and recommend it. It’s also basically spoiler free since (at lease in our opinion) it is unspoilerable. Also Bates Motel, which is rapidly losing our interest.

Next week we’re discussing The Fifth Element and Pan’s Labyrinth. Two weird ol’ movies.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 64: Arrival, Bates Motel S1e4

Hello everyone,

This week we checked out Arrival, featuring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker. We both recommend it, and we definitely recommend you see the movie before listening past our spoiler warning. We also had our wackiest TV segment ever with Caitlin joining us to play with balloons for some reason.

Next week we will be watching Pacific Rim (but we don’t say that’s what we’re seeing in the episode)

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Two Guys Watched the 2016 Election

Hey all,

We just wanted to make a not-so-quick breakout episode about the election, which we’ve been following for a long time. You might say Two Guys have been Watching it. It didn’t turn out how we expected and we wanted to talk about our thoughts. We also had Caitlin on for it. We know politics are not the reason you come here, and we have a regular episode coming out this Monday on Arrival, but if you want to hear where we are after this crazy election, here’s two hours of us talking about that.

Stay safe out there.

Episode 63: Doctor Strange, Bates Motel S1e3

Hey audience!

This week we watched the very pale Doctor Strange! We recommend it ’cause it’s pretty. However, if you were concerned about whitewashing and whatnot, your concerns are not unfounded. We go into great detail and it’s a long one, so strap in! We also talk about Bates Motel. This week’s episode gripped us more than last week’s.

Next week we’re watching Arrival. In theaters this friday.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!

Episode 62: Halloween, Bates Motel S1e2

Boo!

Happy Halloween everyone. To get in the spirit, we discussed John Carpenter’s Halloween this week. We had more guests than ever before and went through all of our October Horror movies with our good friend Shane, a big ol’ horror buff. We also talked Bates Motel’s episode 2. It’s sort of losing us, but we hope it can get on track.

Next week we’re going to be reviewing Doctor Strange! Which will be in theaters this Friday, November 4th.

We’d love it if you’d follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, and rate us on iTunes. Thanks for listening!
